From CNN coverage to likes and support of several celebrities, Prabal Gurung’s Nepal earthquake relief fundraiser is pouring in a massive support.
One of the world’s most popular fashion designers, Gurung has appeared on CNN this afternoon to speak about his relief efforts and request more help for Nepal earthquake relief. Here’s the five minutes long video of him speaking on CNN.
The Nepal born global celebrity has been supported globally from his fans, followers and friends. He has been able to raise more than $285,000+ at the time of this writing. Aimed to raise $500,00 the funds will be used by his Shikshya Foundation based in Nepal for the earthquake relief.
Prabal Gurung immediately started the fundraiser after the disaster on Saturday. His Instagram image caption appealing help reads “”URGENT!! Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund. Donate & spread the message. Every dollar counts. #repost #PrayForNepal #HelpNepal.”
